Henri Tack

Henri Tack graduated as an ingénieur commercial from the Ecole de Commerce Solvay at the University of Brussels in 1995. He then received a J.D. degree from the University of Brussels in 1996 and a Master Degree (LL.M.) from The University of Chicago Law School in 1997. He is a member of the Bars in Brussels and New York.

Before creating the firm in 2013, Henri worked as an associate with the international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York (from 1997 to 1998) and Brussels (from 1998 to 2006), and as a partner in two different Belgian law firms from 2006 to 2013.

Henri’s practice encompasses most areas of business law, with a particular focus on corporate matters and banking & finance matters.

In corporate matters, he has represented numerous clients in all types of M&A transactions (asset and share deals, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and transactions by private equity and venture capital funds). He has also been involved in various IPOs and led several public takeover bids. The majority of Henri’s work includes a cross-border component.

In banking & finance matters, Henri primarily advises banks and borrowers in the context of credit agreements and related security interests and guaranties.
